Centennial Campaign
Almighty God, over the coming weeks and months, we will be working together to make decisions for the future of your church. Please keep us ever mindful that you and the ministry of Jesus Christ is at the center of all that we do. And, if we lose sight of it, please remind us that your desire is for us to be united in one body by the one Spirit, that the world may believe in him whom you have sent, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
A convergent spirit is at work in the people of St. Andrew’s, leading us into the next century of ministry throughout our community through our Centennial Campaign. It is the spirit of coming together--from different points of view and perspectives--that has kept this parish strong through decades of change. It is that same spirit, with guidance from the even greater Holy Spirit, which will move us forward and keep us energized as we embark on the campaign in the fall. Your ideas and feedback show your commitment to the life and ministry of this church, and it is appreciated!
With your help, we have identified a number of projects that can enhance our worship and fellowship experience. Now, we are asking you to help us prioritize these items and let us know which items are most important to you. Please review our latest "wish list" and submit it with your top three choices by Sunday, June 8. You're welcome to drop your form in the alms basin, or submit it to the church office by mail or email.
You may access draft renderings of two of the items under consideration--enhanced back entryway and covered front walkway. A display board illustrating thoughts on a number of options under consideration is available in the Parish Hall.
Volunteer to Assist - We also need help preparing for the Campaign itself, such as planning various events, designing mailings, etc. So, please show your convergent spirit by contacting Jody Greenwood at 713-463-5650 or by email to be part of the team!
